Sofie Poirier

Sofie Poirier is a seasoned professional in corporate innovation and product management, currently serving as a Senior Manager at MaRS Discovery District since May 2018, where expertise lies in innovation capacity and product delivery. Previous roles at MaRS include Manager of Innovation Capacity and Associate in Product Management, leading research teams and advocating for user-centric product design. Sofie's early experience includes a User Research Intern role at Data Catalyst, as well as volunteer positions at RACE for Humanity. Prior to entering the innovation and research fields, Sofie gained management and customer service experience in the restaurant industry. Sofie holds an Ontario Graduate Certificate in Research Analyst from Humber College and an Honors Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Ottawa.
