Andrea Dixon

Andrea Dixon has extensive work experience in the arts and museum industry. Andrea began their career at The Baltimore Museum of Art as a Programs Assistant in the Program Department, where they organized various educational activities and supervised auditorium events. Andrea then worked at the Maryland Science Center as a Project Manager in the Exhibit Department, managing large budgets and collaborating with government agencies and corporate sponsors. Andrea later joined LCM Associates Inc as a Project Manager, overseeing the production and installation of architectural millwork and store fixtures for commercial clients. Andrea returned to the Maryland Science Center as a Technical Director in the Exhibit Department, where they played a key role in a major expansion project. Most recently, they have been serving as the Assistant Director and now as the Director of the Office of Exhibitions at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Andrea Dixon has studied Graphic Design at Parsons Paris - The New School. Andrea has also attended the Maryland Institute College of Art, but no further information is available regarding their field of study or degree obtained.
