Pyungwoo Yoo

Byungwoo Yoo is the VP of Engineering at Mathpresso Inc., where responsibilities include leading the AI Business Group since February 2021. Prior to this role, Byungwoo served as the Back-end Chapter Lead at Kasa, focusing on introducing Domain-Driven Design (DDD), unit testing, and clean architecture while mentoring team members. Previous experience includes a position as a Senior Software Engineer at Buzzvil, where Byungwoo significantly improved performance in ad allocation systems, and as a Co-Founder at Slidejoy, where development of the Android client and backend architecture was undertaken. Earlier career highlights involve enhancing the NNI library at NAVER Corp and foundational software engineering roles at Infobank and DOSA. Byungwoo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Seoul National University, complemented by a minor in business.
