Heather Piscatelli

Heather Piscatelli, Ph.D. joined MatMaCorp in 2015 as a Research Scientist and is currently the company’s Director of Research and Development. As a well-trained molecular biologist with expertise in microbiology and biochemistry, she leads MatMaCorp’s biology efforts and has managed the development of over 100 tests. Heather was instrumental in the development of the company’s C-SAND® assay in which she developed a system for lyophilizing and manufacturing C-SAND® kits, which is the foundation of the company’s COVID-19 test. Heather has a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Purdue University.
