JD Fay

James (“JD”) Fay has 20 years of experience as a globally-focused senior executive, lawyer and advisor in both public and private venture-backed technology companies. In 2017, CFO Monthly Magazine named Mr. Fay a CFO Award winner, and in 2016, the Silicon Valley Business Journal named him a “CFO of the Year”. Mr. Fay, a Harvard-educated corporate lawyer, is seasoned at helping venture-backed technology companies grow from first product through IPO or sale. To date he has led two initial public offerings (IPOs), raised nearly $1 billion in equity and debt capital, and executed several M&A transactions, including a public-to-public sale for $500 million. He has extensive experience with private equity and venture capital investors (institutional, sovereigns, family office, etc.), and advising venture-backed and privately-owned companies.
