Michael Waichigo Kambo CCIE R/S has a wealth of experience in network engineering and operations. From 2007 to 2018, they held various roles in the field. In 2007, they were an Enterprise Systems Engineer at Technology Today Ltd., where they were responsible for LAN/WAN/MAN enterprise network maintenance, configuration and installation of new projects to sign off, and maintenance of existing client networks and support. In 2009, they became a Senior Systems Engineer at Next Technologies Limited, where they were tasked with maintenance and support of existing client networks, solving complex escalations from the department, and configuration and installation of projects to sign off. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Lead Systems Engineer at Gestalt Gild Limited, where they designed, implemented, and troubleshot enterprise LAN/WAN/MAN networks, and maintained network performance by monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and tuning. Finally, from 2017 to 2018, they served as the Head of Network Engineering and Operations at Mawingu Networks, where they established a network engineering governance process aligned to the overall technology and business strategy and framework, participated in management decisions about corporate governance and network processes and control, and planned, built, and continuously improved the network through identification and deployment of appropriate technologies. In 2018, they became the Managing Director and Lead Consultant at Wrentech Consultants Limited.

Michael Waichigo Kambo has an extensive education history. Michael attended Kenya Methodist University from 2010 to 2012, studying Information Technology. Prior to that, they attended Chania High School from 1998 to 2001.
