Dan Peruzzi has extensive experience in the field of neurobiology, currently serving as a Research Liaison at MBF Bioscience since 2004, where responsibilities include providing training for morphometric neuron-modeling and stereology systems, offering technical support, and specializing as a stereology probe expert. Prior to this role, Dan held a position as an Assistant Professor of Neurobiology at the New York Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2004, focusing on the electrophysiological and anatomical characterization of Inferior Colliculus neurons and teaching courses in Neurobiology and Histology. Dan's academic background includes a postdoctoral fellowship in electrophysiological characterization of Cochlear Nucleus neurons at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, additional postdoctoral research at The University of Connecticut Health Center, and a Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Anatomy from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont, complemented by a B.S. in Biochemistry from Binghamton University.
