Jianan Sun

Jianan Sun, PhD, MBA, serves as the Manager of Mobility Products and Innovation Hub Solution Architect at Mercedes-Benz USA since October 2017, focusing on creating innovative digital products and driving business value through an internal innovation pipeline. As a Board Member of the Atlanta Section of SAE International, Jianan contributes to advancing knowledge in automotive and aerospace engineering. Previous experience includes a role as Graduate Teaching Assistant at Clemson University from August 2014 to August 2017 and as a Consultant in the business development department at Weijia Industry Company from May 2011 to May 2013. Jianan earned a PhD in Automotive Engineering Technology from Clemson University and an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, alongside an undergraduate degree in International Trade and Electrical Engineering from Changchun University of Technology.
