Igor Markidan

Igor Markidan has over 20 years of work experience in the software development field. Igor began their career in 1994 as a Senior Consultant for Neuron Data, where they provided product consulting and managed software installation and system integration for mission-critical applications. In 1997, they joined Xerox as a Senior Software Developer and developed a GUI and database software for a knowledge management system. In 1998, they moved to PPGx, Inc (formerly Belmont Research, division of PPD, Inc.) as a Senior Software Developer and Project Leader, where they led the design and implementation of GeneTrials LIMS. In 2002, they joined CIGNA Group Insurance as a Senior Consultant and Project Leader and managed the development, integration and enhancement of a multi-tiered intranet-based document generation system. In 2004, they became a Senior Consultant at QVC, where they reviewed integration issues for a mission critical Order Flow application and provided assessment and recommendations to QVC executives. In 2012, they founded Cherry Hill Systems, where they designed and developed an application for the hospitality industry. In 2015, they joined Innotap as a Senior Consultant, where they worked on the expansion and enhancements of a DesicionDock - virtual desktop for power traders. Finally, in 2018, they joined MCG Energy Solutions, LLC as a Senior Software Developer.

Igor Markidan has a Master's degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University).
