Steven Sabia

Steven Sabia is an experienced FSI Program Manager currently working at McKellar Corporation since August 2023, previously holding the same title at Yorktown Systems Group from August 2016 to August 2023. Steve's career includes significant roles such as Vice President at ICA Language Services and various leadership positions within the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, including Afghanistan Country Manager and Strategic Planner. A veteran of the US Army, Steve served from 1986 to 2012, where roles included Infantry Officer, Eurasian Foreign Area Officer, Chief of Staff, and Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations. Additionally, Steve was the Deputy Director for Political Military Affairs at the US Embassy in Kabul. Steve holds a Master's degree with Honors in Russian and East European Studies from Yale University, a Bachelor's degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a Master's degree with Distinction in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
