Chandi Chandrasena MD CCFP FCFP is a seasoned medical professional currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Physician Peer Leader at OntarioMD since January 2015. With extensive experience in scientific planning for various medical topics at MDBriefCase, Chandrasena has played a significant role in numerous conferences and educational initiatives. Involved with the University of Ottawa CME and Canadian Women in Medicine, Chandrasena has moderated conferences and contributed to program planning since 2008. A dedicated family doctor since July 2002, Chandrasena has held numerous leadership roles within the Ontario Medical Association, including serving as Chair for District 8 and participating in multiple committees focused on governance and member recruitment. Chandrasena has also contributed to initiatives aimed at preventing dementia and chronic illnesses and has been engaged as a peer assessor for the CPSO.
