Michael Tan Kim Seng

Michael Tan Kim Seng has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Michael Tan is currently working at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) as the Head of MDEC Market Access for Global Innovation, where they spearhead strategic initiatives to promote collaboration between corporates and Malaysian tech companies. Prior to this, they worked at UOB as the Vice President, leading the SmartBusiness & Ecosystems division and driving growth through embedded finance and strategic partnerships with fintech and digital platforms. Michael Tan was also the Director of Stakeholders Engagement and Chief of Staff at PrimeKeeper, where they developed business strategies, managed talent, and drove strategic innovation. Additionally, they served as the President of the Crowdsourcing Industry Association of Malaysia (CIA-Malaysia) and as the Co-Founder and CEO of YourPartTime.com & Human Capital Connection Sdn. Bhd. Finally, they held the position of President at Junior Chamber International Kuala Lumpur, a non-profit organization focused on creating impact in communities.

Michael Tan Kim Seng completed their BSc (Hons) in Economics with a major in Finance from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2011. Prior to that, they studied Business Commerce with a focus on Economic Finance at SM Penang Free from 2002 to 2006.
