William Yu

William Emmanuel Yu, PhD, MCP, CISM, CISSP, CSSLP, CRISC serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Micro-D International, Inc since November 2005, overseeing technology consulting, operations, product development, and team management. Additionally, William has been a faculty member at Ateneo de Manila University since April 2001, teaching various subjects in communications and data networking while also engaging in research in high performance computing. William's involvement in professional organizations includes being a founding member of Internet Society-Philippines and an active member of the Philippine Linux Users Group since 1998. Former roles include positions at Smart Communications, Procter and Gamble, and Software Ventures International, focusing on IT risk management, technical consulting, and Java development. William holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science, and dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Computer Engineering, all from Ateneo de Manila University.
