Michael Laird

Michael Laird has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Michael is currently the Director of People Resources at Medecision since June 2021. Prior to this, they held various positions at DaVita Inc., including Senior People Services Training Manager and Senior People Services Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, retention, performance development, compensation, and leadership development for over 1800 employees. Before DaVita Inc., Michael worked as the Director of Organizational Development and Education at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, where they oversaw training and organizational development for 1700 employees and ensured legal compliance through training programs.

Michael Laird attended Mississippi State University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a degree in Music Education with a field of study in Music Teacher Education. In addition, they obtained certifications as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management in January 2015, and as a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst from DiSC in June 2013.
