Shmulik Hess

Shmulik Hess currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at MediWound since November 2023. In addition, Shmulik has been a member of 8400 - The Health Network (CC) since July 2019. Prior to these roles, Shmulik co-founded and served as CEO at Tabby Therapeutics from May 2020 to November 2023 and held the position of CEO at Enlivex Therapeutics from November 2018 to December 2019, where the focus was on developing immunotherapy for immune system rebalancing. Shmulik co-founded and was a member of the executive board at ScienceAbroad from June 2006 to October 2022. Additional experience includes serving as CEO of Valin Technologies from January 2010 to November 2018 and as co-founder and CEO of Active P, as well as working in global operations at SciGen Ltd. from August 2008 to March 2010 and as a research associate at Harlan Pharmaceutical Biological Monitoring from October 2000 to September 2005. Shmulik holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a B.EMS in Emergency Medicine from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
