Ekaterina Krutman has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2014 as an R&D Manager at LUKOIL Lubricants Company. In this role, they managed the development of engine lubricants, negotiating with partners and customers, analyzing technical requirements, budget and time planning for product development, tasking and controlling the production process, and making presentations. Ekaterina was also responsible for launching the first company field trials of engine oil on European roads and won a LUKOIL Group competition for the best technical development. In 2018, they became a Data Analyst at Infogorod, where they conducted ad hoc analysis of accounting and employee data according to requests of government organizations, including Moscow city hall. Ekaterina also participated in BI platform development, providing database querying, data preprocessing, making visualizations in Python and Tableau, assisting a designer with charts visualizations in Figma, and writing data flow descriptions and technical specifications for developers. As an initiative, they developed a classification ML model to assist recruiters in the trainee selection process. In 2020, they joined Fuzzy Logic Labs as a Data Specialist, working fully remotely. Her role involved bank transaction data analysis and the development, maintenance and monitoring of a production Machine Learning model, which processes over 50% of all bank transactions in Russia. The product, securing different types of transactions, allowed to prevent theft of $329m just of fraud credit in 2021. In 2022, they began working as a Data Analyst at Medisafe.
Ekaterina Krutman obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia between 2008 and 2012. Ekaterina then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2014.
