Jia Wang

Jia Wang has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. They began their career as a Software Developer and Tester at Beijing Interpowers Digital Technology Co. from 2001 to 2003, focusing on analyzing software feasibility and coding. From 2003 to 2005, Jia worked as a Software Tester and Project Coordinator at UFIDA Company LTD., where they were responsible for developing test plans, recording results, and coordinating with customers. In 2008, Jia worked as a Freelance Software Tester at Wulei Inc., designing test plans, executing test cases, and implementing regression testing strategies. Jia then transitioned to data analysis roles, starting as a Data Analyst at Wan Systems Biology Laboratory in 2012, where they gathered and transformed data and wrote SAS programs for business intelligence analysis. From 2012 to 2014, Jia worked as a Data Analyst at MarketShare. Most recently, Jia has been with Medpace, where they started as a Statistical Analyst in 2014, progressed to Senior Statistical Analyst in 2018, and currently holds the position of Principal Statistical Analyst.

Jia Wang completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Statistics from Mississippi State University in the years 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, Jia obtained a B.A. in Computer Science and Technology from Wuhan University of Technology between 1997 and 2001. Jia also holds additional certifications as a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 and SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 from the SAS Institute in the years 2012 and 2013, respectively.
