Zahir Ramcharan

Zahir Ramcharan's work experience begins in 2011 with roles in various companies and organizations. In 2011, they gained work experience with TutorMe, where they collected contact information for Malaysian university professors. Zahir also worked with The Oxbridge Research Group during the same time period.

In 2012, Zahir had work experience at Johnson Matthey. Zahir then returned to Johnson Matthey in 2014 for a summer placement, working in the metals and rolling processes, packing, and die shop departments.

In 2015, Zahir had an internship at FunRaising Events Ltd, assisting the accounts department with accounting tasks such as reconciling accounts and processing paperwork. Zahir also held the role of Project Leader at Enactus Nottingham, where they helped launch a new commercial venture called Days&Nights, aimed at providing funding for social enterprises.

In 2017, Zahir joined KPMG UK as an Audit Associate and later became an Assistant Manager. During this time, they gained experience in audit and management.

Most recently, in 2021, Zahir joined Redburn as an Equity Research Analyst. In this role, they conduct research and analysis related to equity investments.

Zahir Ramcharan began their education in 2006 at Haileybury UK, where they completed their high school education. During this time, they focused on their GCSE's and A-Levels. From 2013 to 2016, Zahir attended the University of Nottingham, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Economics. Following their undergraduate studies, from 2017 to 2020, Zahir pursued further education at ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales), completing the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) program with a specialization in Accounting.
