Veronica Brown

Veronica Brown has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Veronica started their career in 2009 as an Optician's Assistant at Frecker Optical, where they worked until 2012. In 2012, they transitioned to a role as a Telefundraiser at RuffaloCODY, where they worked until 2013.

Veronica then gained experience in the insurance sector, starting with a position as a Direct Sales Intern at Medical Protective in 2013. Veronica held various roles within the company, including another Direct Sales Internship in 2014 and a Marketing Internship from December 2014 to January 2015.

In 2015, Veronica worked as a Summer Analyst at AIG from June to August. Following this, they joined MedPro Group as an Actuarial Analyst in June 2016, where they are currently employed.

Veronica Brown attended Butler University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Actuarial Science. In 2014, they participated in a Study Abroad Exchange Program at Flinders University. In terms of certifications, Veronica obtained numerous qualifications, including the Alteryx Designer Core Certification from Alteryx in August 2022. Veronica became a member of the American Academy of Actuaries in February 2022. Additionally, they obtained the Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation and the Exam 6U - Regulation and Financial Reporting (US) certification from the Casualty Actuarial Society in January and October 2021, respectively. In 2020, they completed the MAS-I Modern Actuarial Statistics course from the Casualty Actuarial Society. Prior to that, Veronica obtained the Alteryx Core Certified certification from Alteryx in February 2019. Veronica also acquired several certifications from the Casualty Actuarial Society, including CAS Online Course 2: Insurance Accounting, Coverage Analysis, Insurance Law, and Insurance Regulation in June 2018, and CAS Online Course 1: Risk Management and Insurance Operations in April 2018. Additionally, they obtained the Exam 4 - Models for Financial Economics certification from the Society of Actuaries in February 2018, the Exam 3F - Models for Financial Economics certification in July 2017, the Exam 2 - Financial Mathematics certification in October 2016, and the Exam 1 Probability certification in January 2014.
