Tejasvi Peesay

Tejasvi (Teju) Peesay is an accomplished Internal Medicine Resident at Northwestern Medicine since June 2022 and a dedicated Medical Student at Georgetown University School of Medicine since July 2018. Teju has a strong background in research and mentorship, evident from roles such as Founding Board Member at MedSupplyDrive and Near Peer Mentor for the GEMS Program at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Previous experiences include volunteering at Children's National Health System and working in various capacities, including student intern in Orthopedic and Mechanobiology Laboratory and UM Summer Scholar Research Intern at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Teju holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University, a Master's degree in Physiology, and a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland.
