Richard Andrade has worked in a variety of roles since 1996. Richard began their career as a Programmer Analyst II at OneBeacon Insurance, where they analyzed and resolved software application production problems from end users. Richard then moved on to Jackson Hewitt as an Associate Technician, where they assisted clients in identifying and resolving issues via phone or e-mail. In 2006, they joined the Bradenton Herald as a Programmer, where they processed or analyzed data using computer systems or applications. Richard then moved on to Bright House Networks as a Senior Customer Service Rep, where they troubleshot phone, Internet and cable connectivity issues. In 2011, they joined McClatchy IT as a Systems Programmer, where they processed or analyzed data using computer systems or applications. In 2016, they joined Trinity Support Services as a Production Support Specialist. In 2017, they joined Star2Star Communications as a Tier I Support Technician, where they received incoming calls and created cases to troubleshoot phone or software issues. In 2019, they joined Star2Star/Sangoma as a Project Coordinator, where they prepared new phone install orders by arranging meetings to discuss details of the install. Finally, in 2022, they joined Medtel Communications as a Help Desk Support Specialist/Onboarding.

Richard Andrade attended Manatee Technical College from 2005 to 2006, where they earned a Certificate in Web Design. Richard then attended the New England Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming.
