Aoife Lydon

Aoife Lydon is a QC Microbiology Analyst at MeiraGTx since October 2022, with a strong background in microbiology and quality control. Aoife's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Bioprocessing from the University of Limerick, a post-graduate certificate in biopharmaceutical processing from University College Cork, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the same institution. Prior experience includes positions as a Postgraduate Student at the University of Limerick, AL1 at Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions, Laboratory Technician and QC Sample Management Technician at Dairygold Co-Operative Society Ltd, and SC Innov Sr Coord at PepsiCo. Aoife began a career at GE Healthcare as an Export Coordinator and started at Centra Ireland as a Shop Assistant. Additional training includes a Certificate in Quality Management and Statistics for Lean Six Sigma from Limerick Institute of Technology.
