Gwen Vanneste

Gwen Vanneste has extensive experience in medical writing. Gwen is currently the Head Medical Writing at MeiraGTx since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Medical Writer at Ablynx, a Sanofi company, from January 2019 to April 2021. Gwen also held the position of Senior Medical/Scientific Writer at Ablynx from September 2013 to December 2018. Before joining Ablynx, Gwen worked as a Medical Writer at SGS Life Science Services, S.A. from February 2007 to August 2013, where they were responsible for writing regulatory clinical study and submission documents. Gwen also has a PhD in Medical Sciences from Heymans Institute of Pharmacology, Ghent University, which they completed from December 2002 to January 2007.

Gwen Vanneste completed their education at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences. Prior to that, they attended Sint-Alloysiuscollege Menen from 1996 to 1998, although there is no information regarding the degree obtained during this period. The field of study at Sint-Alloysiuscollege Menen was Wiskunde-Wetenschappen.
