Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma has extensive experience in the field of Infrastructure and DevOps. Rohit is currently serving as the Vice President of Infrastructure/DevOps at Mekari since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of DevOps/SRE at OVO (PT Visionet Internasional) from May 2018 to June 2023. In this role, they led a team of Infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineers, developed strategic directions for Infrastructure and Incident Management, and fostered a blame-free incident analysis culture.

Before joining OVO, Rohit worked at Paytm as an Assistant Manager DevOps from February 2015 to May 2018. Here, they focused on stability, scalability, and security, led migrations between OnPrem data centers and the Cloud, and played a key role in enhancing the overall security posture. Rohit also worked on performance improvement strategies and managed and mentored their team.

Rohit's earlier experiences include working as a Principal Information Systems Engineer at Monster.com India Pvt Ltd. from November 2011 to February 2015, as a Service Engineer at Apollo Health Street from October 2010 to November 2011, as a Senior Analyst-EUC at HCL Technologies from February 2009 to October 2010, and as a Senior TSE at Bharti Airtel Limited from July 2007 to February 2009.

Rohit Sharma completed their Executive Programme in Digital Transformation at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed their B.Sc in IT from Bundelkhand University from 2004 to 2007. Rohit also received their 10th-grade education from L.V.M. Inter College in 2001 to 2002.
