Nick Tonelli, SCMS

Nick Tonelli, SCMS, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nick currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at MEMBERS1st Community Credit Union since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the President/CEO at Germania Credit Union from November 2018 to April 2023, where they led one of the fastest-growing credit unions, managing all aspects of its operations.

Before that, Nick held the position of Retail Regional Manager at Collins Community Credit Union from January 2016 to May 2018. Nick also served as a Branch Manager at Greater Iowa Credit Union from July 2011 to January 2016, where they were responsible for managing and supporting the delivery of credit union products and services. At Midwest Heritage Bank, they worked as an AVP/Bank Manager from June 2008 to May 2012, overseeing daily operations and financials. Nick also worked as an Operations Associate and Sales Associate at the same organization.

Nick's early career was at Hy-Vee, where they worked as part of the Stock Crew from August 1999 to July 2007. Throughout their career, Nick Tonelli has demonstrated strong leadership skills, financial expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to credit union members and customers.

Nick Tonelli started their academic journey at West Central High School, where they obtained a high school diploma in General Education in the year 2001. Following this, from 2001 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Finance and Management from Iowa State University.

Nick then went on to attend Southwest Cuna Management School from 2019 to 2021, specializing in Credit Union Management. Subsequently, they enrolled in The University of Kansas, undertaking a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program, which they are expected to complete between 2022 and 2024.
