Mary Armijo has extensive work experience in various healthcare organizations and educational institutions. Mary began their career at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in 2004 as a Project Manager. In 2006, they joined HCA as a Sr. Project Manager, where they managed projects in the North Florida & South Atlantic Divisions. Mary also held the role of Division Clinical Applications Manager in the same company. From 2010 to 2012, they served as the Director of Advanced Clinicals at HCA, overseeing multiple areas including Inpatient Physician Documentation and Emergency Department Nursing. In 2012, they became the Director of Integration for Epic at HCA, responsible for 3rd party integration and data conversion.

In 2013, Mary joined Orion Health as a Principal Consultant/Program Director, where they led projects in North America. Mary then transitioned to UPHS Health System-Marquette in 2016 as an Associate Chief Operating Officer. In 2019, they joined Memorial Medical Center Las Cruces as the Associate Chief Operating Officer, and later promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer in August 2021.

Outside of their healthcare roles, they also worked as a Faculty member at the University of Phoenix from 2008 to 2020, teaching various courses. Additionally, they served as the Director of Education at PMI Healthcare SIG from 2004 to 2009.

Mary Armijo holds an MBA, M.S. in CIS, FACHE, and PMP certifications. Mary has demonstrated a strong track record in operations management, program management, and clinical application integration in the healthcare industry.

Mary Armijo has a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a healthcare emphasis, which they obtained from Western Governors University between 2007 and 2009. Mary also holds a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland.
