Sandy Howard

Sandy Howard is a nurse practitioner with extensive experience in various mental health settings. Since October 2020, Sandy has worked with Mountain Mental Health and Wellness, PLLC, focusing on private practice tele-psychiatry. Sandy has also provided tele-psychiatry services at Meridian Behavioral Health Services, Inc. since February 2019, and has been involved in crisis stabilization and detox services at Foothills Regional Treatment Center since January 2017. Additional experience includes outpatient community mental health services at RHA Health Services, LLC, and the Asheville Recovery Center, where Sandy was part of a partial hospitalization program until February 2021. Sandy's prior roles include working at the Haywood Regional Medical Center and multiple other community mental health organizations. Sandy holds a Master's degree in Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University.
