David Avalos

David Avalos is an experienced education professional specializing in special education. Currently serving as the Special Education Coordinator at Meridian World School since June 2021, David has previously held roles including Behavioral Technician at Autism Learning Partners and Special Education Coordinator/504 Coordinator at Harmony Public Schools. With a strong foundation in behavior support and interventions, David played a key role at Pflugerville ISD as a Special Education Teacher and Behavior Coordinator, contributing to various committees focused on student behavior management and district strategic planning. David holds a Master of Education in Special Education with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis from Texas A&M University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Texas State University.
