Troy Smith

Troy Smith is an accomplished software engineering leader with extensive experience in both startup and corporate environments. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Meta since February 2024, Troy previously held roles at Versify Labs as Founder & CEO, where the development of a web3-enabled customer loyalty platform was spearheaded. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at The Forest Road Company, where the architecture of a scalable NFT platform was created, and as a Software Engineer at Meta AI, focusing on large language model deployment. Troy's career also encompasses significant contributions to Capital One and Sarnow Food Group, demonstrating expertise in software architecture, microservices, and eCommerce solutions. Troy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland and has pursued additional education at the University of Technology Sydney.
