Shawn Patterson

Shawn Patterson has extensive work experience in various leadership and program management roles. Starting in 2002, they served as a Communications Officer in the United States Air Force, overseeing complex projects and managing a 3,200-person organization. Shawn then transitioned to State Street as an Information Security Analyst, where they managed and administered various information systems. In 2006, Shawn returned to the Air Force as an Acquisitions Program Manager and later as a Communications Manager, responsible for overseeing multi-million-dollar projects and providing cross-functional program management support. In 2016, they joined Collins Aerospace as a Program Manager, leading software development and fielding programs and successfully transitioning the organization to agile development models. In 2021, Shawn became the Director of Military Programs at The Entwistle Company before joining Metamagnetics, Inc. in 2022 as the Vice President of Operations, where they lead all company operations and oversees manufacturing for radio frequency components and systems. Throughout their career, Shawn has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, achieved technical, cost, and schedule goals, and secured multi-year contracts and awards.

Shawn Patterson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Boston University, which they pursued from 1998 to 2002. Furthermore, they earned a Program Manager Level II certification from the Defense Acquisition University in June 2012.
