Avin Manilal

Avin Manilal is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in metallurgical engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at METC since February 2023, Avin focuses on process documentation, metallurgical laboratory testwork management, and flowsheet development. Previous roles include Senior Process/Project Engineer at Kemplant Pty Ltd and a return to METC in a similar capacity. Avin has also held senior engineering positions at JLZ Consulting Pty Ltd and Organic Chemical Corporation, overseeing process optimization and team management. With a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Avin has developed a robust skill set in equipment design, plant optimization, and project planning across various companies, including DRA Global and Worley.
