Sofoklis Karapidakis

Sofoklis Karapidakis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance and data protection. Currently serving as a Board of Directors member and Treasurer for ACFE Greece Chapter since February 2024, Sofoklis also holds the position of Director Compliance and Data Protection Officer at MYTILINEOS S.A. since February 2018. Additionally, Sofoklis has been a Board of Directors member for the Association of Compliance Officers in Greece since May 2022. Previous roles include Head of Compliance and Data Privacy Officer at Siemens from June 2001 to February 2018, and various positions in the construction sector, where responsibilities included corporate development and program management. Sofoklis holds a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
