Tony L. Barker, PhD, has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 2023, they joined Metris Global as the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Business Consultant at Phoenix Strategic Consulting. Between 2020 and 2022, Tony held multiple positions at the US Border Patrol, including Deputy Chief (SES), Deputy Chief Patrol Agent, Division Chief, Patrol Agent in Charge, Deputy Patrol Agent in Charge, Assistant Chief, Operations Officer, Supervisory Border Patrol Agent, and Border Patrol Agent. Following their MBA, Tony enrolled in Capella University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration, Management and Operations from 2018 to 2022.
