Tomé Pereira Canas

Tomé Pereira Canas is an experienced professional with a diverse background in innovation management, entrepreneurship, and education. Currently serving as the Innovation Manager at Metropolitano de Lisboa, Tomé focuses on fostering a culture of innovation while also holding roles as a Board Advisor and Head of Open Innovation at Building Global Innovators. Tomé has taught postgraduate programs at ISQ and has conducted workshops on innovation topics. As a freelance Innovation System Auditor, Tomé has performed internal audits according to NP 4457 standards. Previous roles include Corporate Innovation Coordinator at The Navigator Company and Research and Innovation Manager at Brisa, where significant contributions were made to innovation culture and project management. Tomé holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Design, and a PhD in Technology Evaluation, complemented by executive education in management and strategy.
