Gizem Nogay

Gizem Nogay is an experienced innovation project manager currently working at Meyer Burger Technology AG, focusing on supervising innovation projects and stakeholder engagement. With a background as a senior R&D engineer at CSEM, Gizem managed R&D projects with substantial budgets and contributed to EU initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the European photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing industry. As a researcher and PhD candidate at EPFL, expertise was gained in semiconductor development, plasma processes, and thin film technology, alongside supervising undergraduate projects and developing new technologies for high-efficiency solar cells. Educational accomplishments include an EMBA in Technology and Innovation Management and a PhD in Photonics from EPFL, as well as a Master of Science in Physics from Middle East Technical University.
