Steve Burns is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product design and validation within the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Senior Product Design Engineer at MI Integration since May 2024, Steve previously held multiple key roles at Magna Seating from July 2013 to January 2024, including Engineering Manager for Validation and Design for Six Sigma, where expertise in leading global teams and managing complex validation projects was demonstrated. Steve's background includes positions such as Lead Validation Engineer, Senior Validation Engineer, and Validation Lead Engineer in various companies, where responsibilities encompassed creating and managing DVP&Rs, establishing testing protocols, and collaborating with OEMs on seating and interior components for major automotive brands. Steve holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Lawrence Technological University and a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering from Western Michigan University.
