Ashley R. Baker

Ashley R. Baker, PhD has a diverse work experience in the fields of diversity, equity, inclusion, and sports strategies. Ashley R. is currently serving as the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging at MSU Federal Credit Union. Prior to this role, they founded Team Baker Education and Sports Strategies in 2015. Ashley R. has also held positions at Xavier University of Louisiana, where they served as the Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs and Chief Inclusion Officer, as well as the Chief Inclusion Officer/Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Ashley R. was also an Associate Athletics Director/SWA at the university. Additionally, they were an Adjunct Professor at The University of South Dakota and Northwood University. Ashley R. has also been involved in leadership development programs such as the Institute for Administrative Advancement with Women Leaders in College Sports. Ashley R. has previous experience as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at University of Georgia and as the Director/Assistant Director of Student Athlete Services at Bowling Green State University. Ashley's work in these various roles demonstrates their expertise and passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational and sports settings.

Ashley R. Baker, PhD completed their education in a chronological order. Ashley R. earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Bowling Green State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Ashley R. then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Sport Administration at Bowling Green State University, completing it from 2006 to 2007. Later, they attended the UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Sport Management and Policy, which took place from 2012 to 2016.
