Patrick Frater has over 40 years of work experience in power transmission, automation, and control. Patrick has held various executive roles in different companies, including CEO at Midwest Engineered Components Inc, Upper Midwest Regional Director at Kaman Distribution, and Manager of Power Transmission Division at French Gerleman. Patrick also served as Sales and Operations Consulting Executive at Platinum Group, Vice President at Lake Shore Tram, and General Manager of Minnesota branch at Minarik Automation and Control. In addition, they were the President of the Power Transmission Distributors Association and President/CEO of Northwest Power Products, Inc. Patrick started their career as a Field Sales Engineer at Emerson Power Transmission, working with OEM, MRO, and distributors to design and supply power transmission products.
Patrick Frater completed their secondary education at Watertown High School from 1973 to 1975. Patrick then pursued their undergraduate degree in Business Administration at University of Wisconsin-Stout from 1975 to 1979. In addition, Patrick obtained a certification in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from Six Sigma Global Institute in July 2020.
