Melinda Barrow

Melinda Barrow SHRM-SCP is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Millsaps College since December 2021. Previously, Melinda held the same title at The Madera Group from September 2019 to December 2021, where responsibilities included building HR systems to ensure compliance and fostering an inclusive culture. Melinda's background includes significant roles at Universal Studios Hollywood, where responsibilities ranged from managing talent acquisition programs to supporting HR functions across various departments. Additional experience includes HR consulting at Catch Your Big Break and roles at Rothschild and Children's Hospital Los Angeles in recruitment and generalist capacities. Melinda holds a Master of Arts in Speech Communication from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Azusa Pacific University.
