Sharif Egal

Sharif Egal currently serves as a Senior Policy Officer for Global Health & SRHR at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken since November 2022. Prior experience includes a managerial role at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. in Haiti from June 2019 to October 2022 and various positions at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) from September 2005 to June 2019, including Regional Desk Specialist for Arab States and Health System Specialist in Cameroon. Earlier roles encompassed assistant management at ICCO Cooperation and research positions at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture and SNV. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an MA in Human Geography in Developing Countries from Utrecht University.
