Sean Bibus

Sean Bibus has a diverse range of work experience in various government and nonprofit organizations. Sean currently works as an Operations Supervisor at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, where they oversee the operational needs of the Dairy and Meat Inspection Division. Prior to that, they worked at the Minnesota Department of Health as a Management Analyst 4, coordinating public health data and interoperability projects, providing project management leadership to data process improvement efforts, and analyzing financial reports dedicated to public health efforts.

Sean also has significant experience at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, where they served as a Management Analyst 4 and a Workforce Development Specialist. In these roles, they were a subject matter expert for WIOA compliance, served as the product owner of a software application used for job search tools, facilitated strategic planning meetings, and provided project management and business systems analysis for leadership.

Earlier in their career, Sean worked at the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis as an Employment Counselor, providing counseling and support to individuals seeking employment. Sean also worked at the Montana Department of Labor & Industry as a Workforce Consultant, assisting the community with job placement and employment law advice. Additionally, they served as an AmeriCorps Vista at the Great Falls Job Service, coordinating job skills workshops for TANF recipients to enhance their soft skills and financial literacy.

Sean's work experience also includes a brief role as a Legislative Assistant at the Minnesota House of Representatives. Throughout their career, Sean has demonstrated proficiency in project management, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, and compliance.

Sean Bibus has a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Hamline University, which they obtained between the years 2005 and 2009. Following this, they pursued a master's degree in Public Policy from New England College, completing it between 2010 and 2012.
