Meredith Heneghan

Meredith Heneghan is a Staff Writer at Local since August 2023 and has been a Board Member at CapitolRiver Council since October 2021. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist and Grant Writer for the Minnesota Museum of American Art since January 2020, Meredith also engages in freelance writing for multiple outlets, focusing on financial planning and local artist support since October 2018. Prior experiences include roles as a Sales Associate at I Like You, LLC, an Educational Assistant at Prodeo Academy, a Farm Intern and Community Outreach Coordinator at Sweetgrass Farm, a Teaching Assistant at the University of St. Thomas - Family Studies, and Program Director at VISION. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Family Studies and American Culture and Difference from the University of St. Thomas and graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School.
