Abigail Mosher

Abigail Mosher has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Abigail began their career as an Executive Budget Officer at Minnesota Management & Budget in April 2006, where they held this role until May 2010. During this time, they were responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the state budget, providing high-level advice to various government bodies, and managing a team of budget and policy analysts.

In May 2010, Abigail Mosher transitioned to the role of Executive Budget Coordinator at Minnesota Management & Budget. In this capacity, they continued to oversee the state budget process, with a particular focus on health and human services and state government operations. Abigail worked closely with the State Budget Director and other coordinators, playing a key role in bill analysis and fiscal notes, budget options analysis, and the publication and monitoring of the Governor's budget and budget bills. Abigail executed these duties until December 2011.

Next, Abigail Mosher joined the Minnesota Department of Health in January 2012 as the Chief Financial Officer. Over a span of almost six years, they contributed significantly to the financial management of the department, before concluding their role in November 2017.

Subsequently, Abigail Mosher transitioned to the Minnesota Zoo, where they began as the Chief Financial Officer in November 2017. After nearly five years in this position, they assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in September 2022.

Abigail Mosher's work experience demonstrates their expertise in financial management, budget coordination, and leadership in both government and non-profit sectors. Abigail has held senior positions in various organizations and has made notable contributions to budget planning, analysis, and implementation.

Abigail Mosher completed their Bachelor's Degree in Communication at Macalester College from 1999 to 2002. Abigail later pursued a Master's Degree in Public Policy & Nonprofit Administration at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs from 2004 to 2006.
