Somdath Rampersad

Somdath Rampersad began their work experience as a Technology & Process Engineering Intern at Target in 2004. In 2005, they joined BAE Systems as a Software Engineering Intern before transitioning to the role of Senior Software Engineer in 2006. Somdath continued working at BAE Systems, eventually becoming a Senior Principal Software Engineer in 2013. In 2016, they joined Leidos as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked until July 2021. Currently, they are employed at Minnetronix, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer.

Somdath Rampersad obtained a Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of St. Thomas in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Somdath also holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from the same university, one in Electrical Engineering and another in Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Somdath has pursued various certifications. Somdath completed the "Agile at Work: Planning with Agile User Stories" certification from LinkedIn in July 2022. In October 2021, they obtained the "iOS Core Bluetooth for Developers" certification, also from LinkedIn. In May 2020, they completed the "Android Development Essential Training: Your First App with Kotlin" and "Android Studio Essential Training 2018" certifications from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in October 2019, they obtained the "Learning C#" and "Learning TensorFlow with JavaScript" certifications from LinkedIn. In February 2018, they completed the "Designing RESTful APIs" certification from Lynda.com.
