Vanessa Zühlke has a diverse work experience in the field of bioprocessing and fermentation. Vanessa is currently working as a Bioprocess Scientist at MIRAI FOODS since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Lonza as a Scientist Mammalian Process Development Upstream from September 2018 to November 2021. Vanessa also gained experience as a Fermentation Research Technician at Ohly from February 2018 to July 2018. Vanessa worked as a Master Thesis Student in Research & Development - Fermentation at Bayer from September 2016 to April 2017. Vanessa has also served as a Student Consultant at Consult One e.V. from November 2014 to December 2016 and at 4P. Consulting GbR from May 2016 to November 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Student Assistant at the Institut für Bioverfahrenstechnik from January 2015 to July 2016 and as a Bachelor Thesis Student at the same institute from July 2014 to October 2014.

Vanessa Zühlke began their education in 2011 at Technische Universität Braunschweig, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnologie. Vanessa completed their undergraduate studies in 2014 and decided to continue their education at the same university. From 2014 to 2018, they earned a Master's degree in Biotechnologie at Technische Universität Braunschweig. In addition to their studies in Germany, Vanessa Zühlke also had an opportunity to study Molekularbiologie at Umeå University in Sweden from 2015 to 2016. Throughout their education, Vanessa Zühlke's primary focus has been in the field of Biotechnologie.
