Nick Zanetos

Nick Zanetos has extensive experience in parks and trails management, currently serving as the Parks and Trails Operations Administrator for Missoula County since January 2019. Previously, Nick held various planner roles within the same organization, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of planning processes. Experience as a raft guide from June 2015 to September 2018 honed communication and critical thinking skills in high-stress environments. Nick's commitment to stewardship is evidenced through an internship at Flathead Land Trust Inc., where annual monitoring of easement properties was conducted. Additional internships in community food systems and construction reflect versatility and practical knowledge in zoning regulations. Nick holds a Master of Science in Geography with a focus on Community and Environmental Planning from the University of Montana, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Sustainability from Miami University. Educational ventures also include a study abroad program in Sustainability Resource Management.
