Daniel Huttenlocher

Daniel Huttenlocher is currently the Dean of the MIT Stephen A. Schwarzman College of Computing at MIT. Prior to their current position, Huttenlocher served as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Audit Executive for the NYS Office of Information Technology Services from September 2017 to November 2021. In this role, they assisted the Chief Audit Executive with administrative duties such as calendar management, travel arrangements, meeting preparation, coordination, and note-taking. Daniel also supported the Internal Audit, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Audit teams on an administrative, technologic, and project-level basis.

Huttenlocher has a long history of working in various administrative and technological roles. Daniel has experience working with cross-sectional teams in the design, development, and implementation of departmental projects and initiatives. Daniel is also experienced in liaising with representatives from other state agencies and teams. In addition, Huttenlocher has drafted detailed policies and procedures for staff when needed. Daniel has also edited correspondence, draft audit reports, final audit reports, presentations, etc.

Huttenlocher has also coordinated departmental candidate hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Daniel has managed departmental procurement efforts and documented annual performance evaluations, probationary reports, and training requirements. Daniel is also the administrator for the TeamMate Audit Management Software and they initiate and tracks all departmental technological related problems in Enterprise IT Service Management System (ITSM). Lastly, they coordinate with senior management and other agency staff on various assignments and projects.

Daniel Huttenlocher received a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from The College of Saint Rose.
