Mitch Hungerpiller, Sr., CPA has been working in the accounting and finance industry since 1995. Mitch began their career as the Sole Proprietor of Ralph M. Hungerpiller, Sr., Certified Public Accountant, a boutique CPA firm specializing in SSAE SOC1, SOC2 and SOC3 engagements. In 1995, they also founded Mitchell-Wayne Technologies, a company that provides Fixed-Fee Help Desk Solutions and Cloud Computing Services. In 2000, they founded Return Mail, Inc., a company that provides patented solutions for processing undeliverable USPS mail. In addition, they have been involved with the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys since 2000, where they were the initial sponsor and brainchild for the event CD.

In 1996, Mitch Hungerpiller, Sr., CPA became the Owner of Crumpton Place, providing financial accounting, crop management and professional services. In 1998, they became the Treasurer of the South Dallas Historical Preservation Association, a group chartered with historic preservation in the Black Belt of Alabama. In 2008, they became the Treasurer of the Avondale Business Association, a business district rich with a diversity of mature companies and new startups. In 2011, they joined the Birmingham Sunrise Rotary as a Director of Fundraising and Social Chairman. In 2020, they became the President and Founder of Central City Urban Farm, a hydroponic farm growing gourmet lettuces, kale, Swiss chard, spinach, basil, chives, and cilantro.

Mitch Hungerpiller, Sr., CPA attended Hickory High School from 1978 to 1981, graduating with a Diploma. Mitch then attended East Carolina University - College of Business from 1981 to 1985, earning a BSBA in Accounting. In 1995, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.
