Emily Kramer's work experience includes diverse roles in marketing, entrepreneurship, and investment. Emily is currently the Co-Founder of MKT1, where they run a newsletter, community, and courses for marketers. Additionally, they co-founded MKT1 Capital, an early-stage B2B fund.
Emily also serves as a Board Member for Empower Work and previously worked at First Round Capital as part of their Angel Track program.
Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Emily held significant marketing positions at companies such as Carta, where they built and led the marketing team, and Astro Technology (acquired by Slack), where they brought intelligent email apps to market. Emily also served as the Head of Marketing at Asana and Ticketfly.
Emily began their career as a Campaign Manager and Media Planner at Cadreon and Publicis Modem respectively. Emily also gained experience as a Product Marketing MBA Intern at Salesforce.
Throughout their career, Emily has been actively involved in promoting fair equity practices and advocating for women's representation, as demonstrated through their initiatives such as "The Gap Table" study and the Table Stakes Initiative.

Emily Kramer obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Art History from Tufts University in 2006. Later, they pursued an MBA at Harvard Business School, completing their studies in 2011.
