Who Are We Looking For?

You are an experienced IT Project Manager with a track record of successful IT project delivery.  You are capable manage and coordinate leading any kind of IT infrastructure project by ensuring that all required activities are completed within the agreed scope and on time. The successful candidate is owning the delivery of certain scope items of projects from initiation to closure by maintaining a strong relationship with Mobiz team members and external clients.

You are key in contributing to the growth of Mobiz. Therefore, you have a strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills.

Must be flexible to work in EST and PST time zones as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Working collaboratively with our globally distributed teams you will:

  • Lead project assignments with little oversight

  • Plan and execute IT projects for multiple clients including infrastructure deployments, cloud migrations, and automation engagements.

  • Coordinate and manage the entire project, including scope, following up on project activities, schedule, resources, and quality by working in a matrix-based organization with the engineering and product delivery teams

  • Manage the relationship with clients, and manage communications between the clients and the internal teams.

  • Manage project KPIs including scope, effort, schedule, cost, and quality

  • Conduct post-project lessons learned meetings and ensure identified improvements are incorporated in our tools and processes

  • Maintain and report on Risk, Actions, Issues and Decision (RAID Log) for projects

  • Provide regular status updates (project dashboard and status reports) and lead project reviews

  • Collaborate with fellow project managers on project staffing and task allocation, standardization, and process improvements

  • Provide feedback to technical teams leads on the performance of the project team.

 Qualifications and experience you will need:

  • Degree in Computer Science or in a related field

  • Project Management training and certification required (e.g. Project Management Institute (PMI) certified, as a PMP)

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of IT project management experience including managing digital transformation teams in an agile and waterfall environment

  • Demonstrated Project Management experience in IT systems development and management.

  • Demonstrated experience leading IT infrastructure, DevOps, and software development projects in the following technology areas – cloud (Azure, AWS), networking, network security, Citrix, ServiceNow

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • 3-5 years of experience working for in an IT consulting firm

  • Working knowledge of MS Project, JIRA, and ServiceNow  is preferred

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, both internally and with clients

  • People Management and leadership skills
